In 1985, Carl Goldberg released the famous Anniversary Edition™ Piper Cub kit, celebrating 50 years great flying from Bill Piper's best-know light plane. The famous Piper Cub has trained countless private pilots, was modified to serve in WWII as a L-4 liaison plane, and still delights air show audiences as an aerobatic performer.

Designed with the same great qualities that were admired in our original Cub kit, the Anniversary Edition™ Piper Cub ARF is a scale-like floater that maneuvers great and lands nice and easy. It makes an excellent first sport-scale ARF or just a fun plane to fly for any advanced pilot.

The Anniversary Edition™ Piper Cub ARF will have you in the skys in a flash. Its two-piece plug-in wing makes it a great "everyday" airplane to take to the flying field. We've included a painted fiberglass cowl with dummy engine cylinders for added realism and durability. Inside the box you'll also find clip-on struts, clear plastic windows & windshield, tail wheel assembly, and a complete hardware package. Like all Goldberg ARFs, the Anniversary Edition Piper Cub ARF is 90% prebuilt and finished with premium iron-on covering.
